4 Suiko Seamount NW Pacific, Emperor Chain ~4,500 m Guyot named for Empress Suiko of Japan. Summit ~951 m below sea level.
5 Ioah Guyot Western Pacific, Magellan Seamounts ~4,500 m Shield volcano near Marshall Islands. Erupted alkali basalt ~87 million years ago.
6 Horizon Guyot Mid-Pacific Mountains ~4,300 m Elongated ridge over 300 km long. Largest seamount in the Mid-Pacific Mountains.
7 Kahalewai Seamount Central Pacific ~4,200 m Recently re-mapped; found to be ~1,000 m taller than previously thought.

13 Eltanin Seamount Southern Ocean ~3,688 m Named after research vessel RV Eltanin which discovered it in the 1960s.
14 Rano Rahi South Pacific ~3,600 m Part of the Macdonald seamount chain.
15 Koko Seamount NW Pacific, Emperor Chain ~3,550 m Part of Hawaiian-Emperor chain. Formed ~55 million years ago.
16 Detroit Seamount NW Pacific, Emperor Chain ~3,395 m Part of the Emperor seamount chain. Formed ~47 million years ago.
